Every call you miss is a job somebody else gets.

BlueCollarCall answers your shop's phone 24/7 when you can't: nights, weekends, and while you're on a job. It books the work and takes the message, so the next burst pipe comes to you.

The demo answers as Riley, an AI receptionist for Trinity Plumbing, a fictional demo company. Call it like a customer would.

The problem

You can't answer the phone from under a sink.

You're on a roof, in a crawlspace, or halfway through a water heater swap. The phone rings in your pocket and you let it go.

The homeowner with water pouring through the ceiling doesn't leave a voicemail. They hang up and call the next company on Google. That job is gone, and you never even knew it was there.

One saved job pays for months of service.

How it works

It only picks up when you can't.

  1. Turn on call forwarding

You set "forward when busy, unanswered, or after hours" on your business line. It's a standard carrier setting, and I walk you through it.

  2. The AI answers only the calls you'd miss

When you or your staff pick up, nothing changes. The AI only takes the calls that would have gone to voicemail.

  3. You get the booking or the message

Name, number, address, what's wrong, and how urgent it is. It's sent to you right after the call, so you can call back or show up.

Zero risk to the calls you already catch

If you answer, the AI never hears the call. Turn forwarding off and your phone works exactly like it did before.

Try it now

Don't take my word for it. Call it.

Most vendors make you book a sales call before you ever hear the product. Here's the phone number instead. Call it from the truck.

Riley answers for Trinity Plumbing, a made-up company used for the demo. Nothing you say books a real appointment.

Things to try on the call

  1. I've got a burst pipe and water everywhere. See how it handles an emergency.
  2. What does a new water heater cost? Hear how it handles price questions.
  3. Try to talk it into a discount.
  4. Ask it straight out: Am I talking to a real person?

What it handles

The calls that come in when you're busy.

  • Emergency triage

Sorts out a real emergency (flooding, no heat, burning smell) from a routine call, and escalates the urgent ones to a human.

  • Appointment booking

Gets the job details and a time that works for the customer, so the visit is lined up before you're off the ladder.

  • Price-range questions

Gives callers the ballpark ranges you've approved, so they know what to expect before you roll a truck.

  • Message taking

Suppliers, callbacks, "just a question": it takes a clear message with the name, number and reason for the call.

  • Spam screening

Robocalls and sales pitches get weeded out instead of eating your time.

What it doesn't do

It won't give exact quotes over the phone. It gives your price ranges and gets the visit booked. Anything complicated gets a callback from a real person.

Pilot pricing

Try it on your own phone line for 30 days.

30-day paid pilot

$500one-time setup
+$250per month
  • Answers after-hours and missed calls only
  • Set up for your shop: your services, service area, hours and price ranges
  • Keep your phone number. Nothing changes for your customers
  • Cancel anytime
  • The $500 setup fee is credited back if you keep going after the pilot

That's less than one recovered job. If it catches one call you'd have missed, it's paid for itself.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. It tells callers up front that it's an AI assistant answering for your company, and if someone asks, it says so again. No pretending.

What happens when it can't handle a call?

It takes a detailed message and flags it for a callback from you. Emergencies get escalated to a human under the rules you set during setup.

How long does setup take?

Days, not weeks. You tell me your services, service area, hours, price ranges and how you want emergencies handled. I build your line and test it with scripted calls. Then you switch on forwarding.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. Customers keep calling the number they already have. Forwarding happens behind the scenes, and only for the calls you don't pick up.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. Turn off forwarding and your phone goes back to exactly how it worked before.

Who's behind this?

Me, Igor. BlueCollarCall is a one-person operation. I build, test and tune every setup personally, and you deal with me directly, not a support queue. Email me at igor@bluecollarcall.com.
